Floral Arrangement Card using Stitching and Beads - Jan Rankine


Instructions:
 
  1. Cut a piece of blue card to 11.25cm x 11.25cm
  2.  Using Emelie's Design Card Stitching Pattern - ED032 - centre the pattern on the card, face up and attach to the card with Removable Tape.
  3. Prick all of the dots in the pattern using a pricking tool and pricking mat.
  4. Using thread and an embroidery needle stitch the design in stem stitch as indicated on the pattern adding pearl Rice Beads and blue Seed Beads as you stitch
  5. Cut out the 3D picture and assemble using Foam Blocks. Finish off by applying a coat of  lacquer if desired. When the lacquer is dry, centre the 3D on the blue card and attach with double-sided tape.
  6. Using Marianne Design Creatables die LR0192 and a die cutting machine eg Cuttlebug or Big Shot, cut three of the large leaves from green card and place them behind the 3D picture on the card using glue.
  7. Trim, score and fold some brown card to make a 13cm x 13cm square folded card
  8. Use double-sided tape to attach the blue card to the brown base card
  9. Apply peel-off  border stickers butted up to the outside edges of the blue card
