3D Daisy by Marianne Design ~ Shaz. G

The card today is using the Don and Daisy 3D sheet - this is much prettier than the sheet colours show  on site, and it is a great, versatile set by Marianne Design, with very good detail.
1. Cut with fine scissors the pieces of  Daisy from the top of the sheet, and shape them with the shaping tool on the foam shaping mat.

2. Apply 3D Foam Blocks or 3D Silicone Adhesive to the back of the 3D pieces and layer them in order of size - largest to the smallest. TIP: when cutting them out the 3D pieces, place them in order to one side and shape and attach as you go. This works well with detailed 3D's.

3. Once the picture is assembled apply a thin layer of Gloss Kote to all exposed surfaces of the picture. Place aside to dry.
4. Take a white sheet of card and cut to 14.5 x 10.5cm (half an A5 sheet is almost the right size, I cut a little off the bottom).

 5. Using the Nellie Snellen Corner Die MFD031 line up the die at each corner and run through a Cuttlebug or similar machine to cutout each corner - ensure you line up each corner accurately.  I found when using thick card it needs to be run the machine several times to successfully cut all the lovely detail of this corner piece. You will notice there is a slight overlap where the corners meet at the centre of the card - shown in the sample below

6. Trim the excess to round off the sides and bottom where they join the card, as shown in the two small close ups. When the four corners are completed attach with Double-sided Tape to a piece of pink paper. I used a sheet from the Papermania Henbury Lane Pack.
7. Centre the assembled topper on white card and attach with double-sided tape. Add a bit of colour  to give depth, I added some fuchsia chalk with a sponge. Adhere the assembled 3D with double-sided tape and put a couple of pencil lines around her feet and hands so it looks like she is in motion.
8. Then add a gold Peel-Off Happy Birthday sticker using a pricking/positioning tool to place the greeting carefully in the top corners. Add gold peel-off borders and corners to complete the card.
